Last Saturday, Malaysian skateboarders took the streets as a form of protest towards Malaysia Extreme Sports Association (MESA).
#DemiSkateboarding street skating gathering was supposed to be a normal skate gathering, until it turned out to be a KL Skate Riot, competition haram event to boycott MESA’s event.
It is a platform to show solidarity against MESA by wearing white they boycotted MESA’s national contingent selection championship that was held on the same day. They claimed MESA did nothing to contribute to the sports for the past eight years.

KL Skate Riot, the second wave, February 2018
The second wave of Skate Riot KL gathering, a sequel to Demi Skateboading gathering last year.
Skate Riot KL was held on 24 February 2018, around Kuala Lumpur. About 100 skateboarders gathered to enter several street skateboarding contest.
They won tshirts, skateboards and cash money. No sponsor ROI, no leaders, just pure skateboarding fun.
