Mahathir Nor Daniel and Momo Khan have officially been selected for special program elite athlete development program under MySKATE and the National Sports Council (Majlis Sukan Negara). Their selection isn’t just based on raw talent, but on clear criteria: both are under-16 athletes with Olympic qualification rankings in 2024, and have demonstrated consistent performance in local and regional competitions over the past year. As two of Malaysia’s most promising young skateboarders, they are now part of a long-term national strategy to develop the next generation of Olympic-level athletes. Their RTLA journey begins at Thailand Extreme Fest 2025, and continues with the World Skate Tour and beyond. This isn’t just about chasing medals – it’s a long-term investment in the future of Malaysian skateboarding.
